Oregon has done a tremendous job recruiting the state of Texas the past few years and it is showing on the field. The nation's No. 1 team has a starting quarterback from the Lone Star State in Darron Thomas. They also have a Texan Heisman Trophy contender at running back in LaMichael James.

The Ducks have struck again in Texas and this was perhaps their most surprising commit of all.
