Catching up with Cody Carriger
Sleeper recruits are a scarce commodity given fans' interest level in college football recruiting. Playing for a small school is a key ingredient as few analysts have the opportunity to assess and observe the player. Oregon defensive end commit Cody Carriger fits that description, playing for Butte High School in the heart of Big Sky Country.
Duck Sports Authority checked in with the three-sport standout to get an update on the 6-foot-6, 230 pound member of Butte's 4x100 relay team anchor and two-way football standout.
"The summer was great but it went fast, too fast." laughed Carriger. "I worked on football, drove around the country, that's about it."
