Q&A: Ryan Clanton
Bakersfield, California product Ryan Clanton played a lot of football for the Oregon Ducks and offensive line coach Steve Greatwood in 2011. The 6-foot-5, 296-pound senior appeared in eleven games, playing both tackle and guard.
Rated as a four-star prospect out of City College of San Francisco in 2010, Clanton enrolled early, allowing him to participate in the 2010 spring session, jump starting his learning process of Oregon's technique and playbook. For 2012, he is a leading candidate to start at the right guard position.
Duck Sports Authority caught up with Clanton to get his thoughts on spring camp.
DSA: Here we are towards the end of spring, how is your body holding up?
Ryan Clanton: My body is holding up great. We did a good job in the winter of lifting so strength is up and I'm doing great personally.
