DSA Recruiting Ranking Prediction
Oregon has a reputation for feeling their way through the recruiting season before the post-season, landing a few of their A-List athletes, and being cautious with their offers. It's played out this way over the last several seasons, and the results have been unprecedented.
With the dust settling on the latest Rivals Team Rankings, the Ducks are positioned at #47. This is par for the course at this time of year, but there are two potential courses of action.
1. Chip Kelly leaves for the NFL and another coach has to complete the class: We've spoken to several Rivals.com analysts that agree the impact wouldn't be as detrimental as many want to believe. Recruits have actually been told to commit to the program and not the coach. 2013 Projection #18
2. Chip Kelly finishes the recruiting cycle and continues to land highly rated Prep and JUCO athletes: The Ducks will take 20-24 recruits in this class and as future features will outline, they are aiming for the stars. 2013 Projection #11
