For the match-up with Kansas State we have divided it into three parts. Today we move to the match-ups in the running game. Oregon has been one of the top rushing teams in the nation during Chip Kelly's time in Eugene and this season was no different as the Ducks average 323.7 yards per game on the ground which ranks third in the nation. Kansas State averaged 199.2 yards per game through this season on 4.9 yards per carry.

In rush defense, Kansas State fared better giving up just 119.2 yards per game and 12 rushing touchdowns while Oregon gave up 146 yards per game and 14 rushing touchdowns. Both defenses gave up 4.0 yards per carry.
