Offensive lineman wants a title
One of the top offensive linemen on the West Coast for 2007 is San Francisco (Calif.) St. Ignatius College Prep's Matt Summers-Gavin. The 6-foot-5, 271-pound offensive tackle prospect suffered an injury earlier this season and had to reschedule an official visit to California. He's ready to take that trip now. Will that be his last visit or will he take time to see Oregon? Duck Sports Authority talked with Summers-Gavin recently to find out.
The big man told us that his injury is healing just fine.
"I injured my ankle, but it is fine," he said. "I bounced back. It's still bothers me a bit, but I've played every game since then. I ice it every night and do these ankle workouts. It's feeling better every day."
