THE LATEST: Enokk Vimahi really would like to take some unofficial visits this season but Kahuku, Hawaii, has no bye weeks so it might be difficult.

Trips might have to wait until after the season.

That seems unfortunate but manageable to the 2019 four-star offensive tackle because he it taking the recruiting process slowly and not really even concerned too much about it at this point.

There are some schools Vimahi would like to visit soon – Nebraska, Cal and Oregon especially – but the 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect might hold off until after his junior season.

So far, the Kahuku standout has landed offers from BYU, Fresno State, Hawaii, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oregon, Syracuse, UCLA, USC and Utah.

IN HIS WORDS: “I am not sure yet (about visits) since we have no bye weeks until playoffs but I’m thinking of after season. I have been thinking about Nebraska, Cal-Berkeley and Oregon but I'm not limited to just those. Those are just some schools that I haven't visited yet.”

RIVALS’ REACTION: Recruiting started even earlier than normal for Vimahi because he was closely involved with his older brother, Aliki, as he went through the process in the 2017 class.

Despite being a big-time USC fan, Aliki Vimahi signed with Utah out of high school instead of taking a blueshirt opportunity with the Trojans. He will serve a Mormon mission and should return to college football for the 2019 season.

Vimahi has said numerous times that he remains open to all programs but it certainly cannot hurt that his brother signed with the Utes.

It’s still really early for the 2019 four-star offensive tackle and a bunch of unofficial visits are expected through his junior season but Utah and some other Pac-12 schools have to be watched closely as things continue.
