Oklahoma's very best for 2008

Well, the ink has yet to dry on the class of 2007 but SoonerScoop.com sees no reason to sit around twiddling our thumbs. It's time to take a look at the top 20 prospects in the state of Oklahoma for the class of 2008, including the top five ranked in order. Take a look to see where many of the players that have been discussed since they were freshmen and sophomores. So without further ado, a day after National Signing Day, here is our preliminary list for 2006.

3. Stacey McGee, Offensive Tackle/Def. Tackle - High School: Muskogee
Analysis: People were excited about McGee as a defensive tackle, but when he started working along the offensive line it became clear that McGee wasn't a run of the mill big man, but instead stood a chance to be a truly elite prospect, as is evidenced by his presence among The Rivals100 Pre-Evaluation list. McGee is currently at about 6-foot-5, 285-pounds and is expected to continue to grow, and with an early offer from Oklahoma it seems that the Sooners could be on the verge of another Rougher star joining the ranks.
