2018 Rivals250 WR talks Oregon offer, top schools

Under new coach Willie Taggart, the recruiting world for the University of Oregon will never be the same. After seeing how selective the past staff was with extending scholarship offers, Taggart has shifted the Ducks more to his style rather quickly, and that continued on Monday afternoon when 4-star Yoakum (Tex.) WR Josh Moore received an offer from the Ducks.

Moore woke up to a DM from a coach, who he then called to get the good news.

"When I called him, he told me that I am a major priority for the class of 2018, and he said they are going to do everything in their power to get me to be a duck" Moore said about the offer and how it all went down.

While it is early on in his recruitment, Moore knows for sure what two things are most important as he narrows his list down: "depth chart and relationships with the coaches" he says are the two most important things. Moore also said that he finds the WR depth situation at Oregon "inviting" and that he is definitely looking forward to visiting Eugene in the near future.

As for his top school at this time, Moore took to Twitter to announce a list on Tuesday afternoon of his top fourteen (!) schools:
