Buckner to announce at Bowl

The Oregon Ducks have already amassed some serious defensive line talent so far in the 2012 class. They are a major contender for another. Four-star defensive end DeForest Buckner has Oregon in his final group, and plans to make his announcement right after the New Year.
Duck Sports Authority received word from Honolulu that although Buckner did not care to elaborate at this time, he "will announce his decision at the All-American Semper Fi Bowl game" on January 3rd.

The 6-foot-7, 230 pound strongside defensive end had trimmed his final list to UCLA, Cal and Oregon in his last public interview in October. The Honolulu (Punahou) Hawaii star is ranked as the No. 2 player in Hawaii and the 18th defensive end overall.
The quality of this and past defensive line Oregon recruiting classes has been the subject of conversation on DSA's message boards with interesting information and perspectives.
Stay tuned to Duck Sports Authority as we follow the Ducks to Pasadena as they face the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl. Then it is on the road again for DSA and its subscribers the next day to cover the Army All-American game in San Antonio.
But in between those two events could be another big day for Oregon fans, with the DeForest Buckner commitment announcement during the Semper Fidelis AA Bowl game. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm MST on Tuesday, January 3rd.
