LOS ANGELES - Jordan Patterson is hoping to take some visits this spring and the three-star prospect is focused on Pac-12 schools.

“For the spring, the visits I want to go on are Washington, ASU and I’m trying to head up to Oregon,” Patterson said at the recent Premium Showcase.

All three schools have been getting more involved with the Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne two-way standout but none of them have offered at this point. Patterson will visit Arizona State this weekend.

“(Washington assistant coach) Matt Lubick and I communicate a lot and he seems like a good guy,” Patterson said. “I’d love to go up there to see what it’s like.”

With Arizona State hiring former Long Beach (Calif.) Poly coach Antonio Pierce recently, that could give an edge to the Sun Devils. Patterson also has developed strong relationships with coaches at Oregon.

“When AP went up there I said, ‘OK, they might be up to something,’” Patterson said. “AP hits me up all the time and he wants me to head up there pretty soon.

“Coach (Keith) Heyward and coach Mike Johnson (at Oregon) seem like really good people. They want me up there, too. We have good conversations all the time and we’ll see how that goes.”

The three-star standout said another Pac-12 team - Colorado - is recruiting him the hardest so far.

“I was talking to their head coach,” Patterson said. “He came up to Narbonne to see me and we’ve been having good conversations all the time.”

So far, Patterson lists offers from USC and UCLA.
