Wilson flips

Some things in recruiting are a surprise, some are not. The decision on Sunday by Del City (Okla.) QB Terry Wilson to switch his commitment from Nebraska to Oregon falls into the latter category. However expected his decision was it was equally welcome as the Ducks shored up their future quarterback roster with another premier dual-threat athlete.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound signal-caller made the announcement via social media at the conclusion of his official visit weekend to Oregon.

With that Wilson joined Seth Green as a quarterback commits to Oregon making him the 13th member of the Ducks' class of 2016. Prior to the visit he put his recruiting world on notice that the move was a distinct possibility.
"If I love it there at Oregon, the possibility is high that I switch," Wilson told Duck Sports Authority before the trip. "That is nothing against Nebraska or anything but that is just how it is sometimes. You have to go with your heart."
With Wilson in the fold the Oregon quarterback depth chart heading into the 2016 campaign will be full with (then) senior Jeff Lockie, RSo Morgan Mahalak, RFr Travis Waller, Fr Seth Green and Fr Terry Willson making up the five scholarship slots.
The competition and depth chart is not something that frightens the newest future Duck.
"If it's reasonable, I can fit in there. I can work my way up," predicted the Sooner State's No. 5-ranked overall football prospect.
Duck Sports Authority will speak with Wilson about his decision upon his return to Oklahoma. In the meantime stay tuned to DSA as Oregon prepares for its crucial road trip this week to East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans in one of the biggest non-conference games of the college football season.
