Duck Faithful can search the internet, but they won't
find a better publisher for University of Oregon athletics than
A.J. Jacobson and the DSA Team. AJ was born and raised in Eugene, resides in Eugene, is the son of
a former Duck athletics coach, and understands the sport
of college football as a player and coach.
A.J. attended Marist High School where he competed in football
and earned honors as a LB and OG. Upon graduation he was accepted to West
Point where he spent two more years playing collegiate football. While
he learned about football as a Black Knight, his ties with the University
of Oregon run deeper.
A.J. returned to the University of Oregon to
fulfill a double degree and began coaching high school football at Marist.
He built a strong relationship with Mike Bellotti, Chip Kelly, and the rest of the Duck football
program as a training consultant to the offensive and defensive line.
As an accomplished tae kwon do artist A.J. enhanced the quickness, coordination,
and footwork for the linemen.
In 2002 A.J. pioneered "Duck Sports Authority"
with partner Duane Rossiter. They provided insight on the players and
expanded on in-depth conversations with the coaching staff. A.J. parlayed
his knowledge to the message boards where he was able to dispel rumors
and share exclusive insight with Duck Faithful.
A.J. has owned and operated
the website since 2005.You won't find many Ducks better connected than
A.J. because of his proximity to the athletic programs in Eugene. His
football background and penchant for the trenches makes him one of the leading experts on offensive and defensive linemen in the Northwest.
You'll hear A.J. on the radio, see him on television, and read his comments
in the local papers. You'll quickly understand his passion for Oregon
Athletics and Eugene, and his drive to make DSA the best destination
for Duck Fans on the internet...
