Jelks is the No. 14-ranked player in the state of Arizona and the No. 23-ranked strongside defensive end in the country. He becomes the second defensive lineman joining JUCO standout Tui Talia committing to new DL coach Ron Aiken.
With the graduation of five players from the defensive trenches, the Ducks will still be looking for two or three more DL in this recruiting class.
The three-star prospect amassed over a dozen BCS offers before deciding on Oregon.
Stay tuned to Duck Sports Authority as we follow up with Jelks and continue to cover all over Oregon's recruiting for the Class of 2014 with Fall Camp set to kick off in two weeks.
