Florida SDE picks Ducks

Strongside defensive end Brandon Dorlus took an official visit to Oregon a weekend ago and apparently liked what he saw. On Wednesday the 6-foot-4, 265-pound strongside defensive end sent his letter of intent to the Duck coaching staff, adding a sixth east coast member to Oregon’s class of 2019.

Dorlus was committed to Virginia Tech until earlier this month when he opened his recruitment back up. His picked Oregon over the other favorite for his signature, Florida.

Dorlus becomes the seventh early signee for the Oregon Ducks with the west coast signing period yet to open. The Oregon coaching staff should be elated with their morning so far. Five east coast commits heading into the day, six east coast early signees.
