Kendall Small to transfer


The Oregon Ducks will lose one of the Class of 2015 commits the school confirmed on Saturday.

Freshman guard Kendall Small has decided that he will transfer according to the schools’ Athletic Department.

Kendall Small will be looking to join another team for the 2016/17 season


Another member of the four-member class, Trevor Manual, transferred to Loyola-Marymount in January of this year.

Chris Boucher and Tyler Dorsey are the two members of the class who remain.

Small was lightly though frequently used in his rookie campaign, appearing in 36 games and averaging 1.7 points per game.

“We thank Kendall for his contributions to our team and wish him all the best in the future,” said head coach Dana Altman in a statement.

The 6-foot, 175-pound point guard committed to the Ducks out of Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair high school ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 110 overall prospect nationally.
