Oregon won their season opener handily over UC-Davis on Saturday. As they should have. Going into the game the betting line was 'off' meaning that Las Vegas did not even care to make odds they thought the score would be so lopsided as is often the case with FCS vs. FBS matchups.

The lines that were available had the Ducks winning by five touchdowns or so, which is precisely what they did 53-28.

This week the Ducks face the Virginia Cavaliers in a rematch of their 2013 tilt in Charlottesville when Marcus Mariota led Oregon to a 59-10 rout over their ACC hosts. This week may not be any prettier for first year Virginia head coach Bronco Mendenhall. After an embarrassing 37-20 home loss to Richmond last week, his team travels across the country for a game that will kick off at 10:30 pm local Virginia time.

While the Ducks were certainly not the picture of efficiency in their first game, it was a far better outing than their Saturday opponent had. In fact, when Las Vegas came out with a three touchdown spread on Sunday, bettors scoffed.

You get the picture. While very few college football fans aside from Ducks and Cavaliers will see this game, they are expecting to wake up Sunday morning to read about a big Oregon victory. Duck Sports Authority agrees.
