TV host contest with KLSR-TV in Eugene and also was "DJ" bringing the "greatest hits of all time" in the video history of Oregon football. Judge says he has always wanted to be an actor and went to Hollywood to
pursue his dream. Doug went
to Howard Fine Studio acting school and then landed
a number of parts in television and film. Judge has been very successful unlike many who have tried to travel that road. Doug's television and film
credits are too numerous to list but just a few are: Martin, The Fresh Prince of
Bel Air,
Wise Guy, 21 Jump Street, MacGyver, Gabriel's Fire, and Sirens.
Film roles have included Bird
on a Wire, Out of Pocket, and the Disney film Winterdance.
His voice can be heard on the animated series Action Man, Book of Virtues, and X
men.
Judge says that working
on Stargate SG-1 has been
"fantastic" and he is surrounded by a great group of people. He is looking forward to a leading movie role in "The Ring" where he will play Thad Spencer. It is an inspirational true story about the ups and downs of Spencer who was a very promising boxer during Muhammad Ali's era. Judge is looking forward to the role which he says should really challenge his acting ability
like none to date. Judge has three children but is no longer
married. He says the long acting hours took their toll on his
marriage. He calls himself a great father but a "lousy husband." Judge was aware that the Ducks' are rated in the top 10 and said that he will do his "damnedest" to get down and see a game despite his extremely busy schedule. When asked what advice he would give the Ducks, he laughed and told the team to remember "...there's a whole lot of tradition,
