Rivals250 WR Isaah Crocker picks Ducks

Oregon landed a much-needed wide receiver on Monday when 6-foot-2, 175-pound Sacramento (Calif.) Inderkum standout Isaah Crocker announced his pick via social media. The Rivals250 honoree becomes the second wideout committed to the Ducks joining Long Beach Poly four-star Jalen Hall who made his decision last week.

Crocker chose Oregon over offers from the entire Pac-12, Notre Dame, Nebraska and others before settling on a final two of the Ducks and their in-state rivals Oregon State Beavers. He becomes the 22nd prospect committed to the Class of 2018. Before his commitment, Oregon had the No. 14-ranked recruiting class in the nation (1992 points) one spot behind Northwest nemesis No. 13 Washington. The Ducks jumped two spots to No. 12 with Crockers' addition, passing Washington and Clemson in the team rankings.

Even with two 2018 wide receivers in the fold, Oregon is not done at the position. Their target for the WR group is four, and they still have elite candidates like Miles Battle, Tre'Shaun Harrison and Devon Williams with the Ducks at or near the top of their list.

Battle was committed to Oregon prior to the departure of Willie Taggart for Florida. His announcement is expected in the next week.

Oregon has just over one week to finalize their class prior to national letter-of-intent day on February 7th. With a strong finish, a top ten national class is a distinct possibility, which would be a major coup for Mario Cristobal’s first ever signing class.
