Spencer Webb took his official visit to Oregon this past weekend.

He was already secure in his commitment to the Ducks but his trip only reinforced things and the four-star tight end from Sacramento (Calif.) Christian Brothers Academy is as locked in as possible now.

“Great visit,” Webb said.

“The academic part of the school is extremely nice. They have it set up to succeed.”

Webb has been committed to Oregon since late April and has never really wavered off his pledge but in recent weeks many other top programs came in with offers.

Since the beginning of January, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Oklahoma have offered the 6-foot-5, 234-pound four-star standout but he was highly impressed with Oregon this weekend and does not plan to go anywhere else.

Spending more time with the coaching staff in Eugene this weekend was another big selling point.

“The coaching staff has always been really welcoming and coach (Mario) Cristobal takes it to another level,” Webb said. “Also the new strength staff is unbelievable. It's just a great place for me.”

There are still a few weekends before National Signing Day but Webb made clear where his Oregon commitment stands.

“I’m done,” he said.
