Voeller suffers setback

Oregon committed recruit Evan Voeller had a tough night on Friday even though West Linn took down visiting Barlow 22-10.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound standout suffered a Type 3 AC separation, possibly ending his senior campaign before league play began.

Voeller gave Duck Sports Authority the early information he is receiving about a recovery timetable.
"The doctor said if I get surgery then I probably will not be back this season," said Voeller. "If I don't get the surgery then I might be able to be back for the playoffs. He said I should be good to go for August if I have the surgery."
Though admitting the injury was extremely painful, Voeller did not leave the field immediately.
"I got up and played two more plays then we scored."
The No. 2 ranked recruit in the state of Oregon has a plan for what he will do during his rehabilitation.
"I'll just try my best to be a leader for the guys," said Voeller. "I'll help coach them if I can."
Duck Sports Authority wishes Evan the best of luck with a speedy rehabilitation.
