SAN ANTONIO — Day 2 of practice at the All-American Bowl brought another Oregon signee into the mix as future Ducks defensive lineman Johnny Bowens made the trek over from Converse, Texas to join quarterback Austin Novosad on the West team.

It didn't take long for the Rivals250 defensive lineman to make an impression at the event as he shined in both practice sessions Wednesday at the Alamodome.

He was dominant in one-on-one drills with numerous easy wins against top offensive line competition.

Novosad followed up an impressive first day of practice with an equally strong performance Wednesday as he was able to lead some team work during the second practice giving the West team its first touchdown in the 11-on-11 period against the East.
