By enrolling for winter term at Oregon the four-star rated member of the Class of 2015 will be able to participate in spring football, giving him a significant taste of the Duck personnel and playbook heading into the 2015 campaign.
While junior-to-be Jeff Lockie is the heir-apparent to Marcus Mariota, assuming the Heisman trophy winner enters the NFL draft, the position will be considered by the coaching staff wide open with room to move on the depth chart in spring and fall.
Waller becomes the fourth early enrollee in Oregon's class of 2014 joining offensive lineman Zach Okun, wide receiver Alex Ofodile and running back Taj Griffin.
