Oregon basketball made its latest offer on Monday to Lakewood (Calif.) Mayfair shooting guard Josh Christopher. The Ducks join Arizona, Cal, Florida State, UCLA, UNLV and USC as early offers for the sharpshooter.

The Class of 2020 prospect was solid in summer league ball and is one of the fastest rising prospects in his class. He impressed Rivals analysts with his ability to shoot from the outside, as well as distribute the ball to his teammates in transition.

Christopher is the first Oregon offer to a member of the Class of 2020 in the database.

Oregon made a pair of Class of 2019 offers to power forwards on Sunday.

DSA's reaction: Clearly the guy is a very good basketball player to get this much interest this early in his recruitment.

While it's hard to get excited about a prospect two years off from making his decision, it certainly is smart to begin establishing a relationship early.
